MY STORY

Growing up in Norman, Oklahoma, at a young age I discovered my favorite things in life: comedy, music, and making cool stuff. That cool stuff included everything from epic intro videos for backyard family football games to full length albums sung by a penguin named Reggie. Over time, I learned that creating was my absolute favorite source of joy and with that, I taught myself a lot. I learned how to film and edit my own videos, design all kinds of graphics, and a whole lot more. I also was a fashion savant, as my collection of wristbands would tell you...

By the age of 18, I was an All-State cellist who Yo Yo Ma called his nephew one time (true story), I taught myself how to play piano and write songs, and I fell in love with comedy. Improv, stand up, sketch-- I pursued it all. For years, I dreamt of one day moving to Chicago, where I would finally chase my dreams at one of the most esteemed comedy institutions appearing in my Google searches: The Second City.
And that's when it happened...

THE MOVE!

SUMMER '22
After getting married in May, my wife and I decided it's time to roll the dice. After a lot of consideration, we decide to pack it all up and move to Chicago! In our first year of living here, we've accomplished a lot. I successfully auditioned and joined The Second City Conservatory in October, where I've studied and performed improv-to-sketch comedy. This October, I am about to conclude my journey at the illustrious comedy school with an eight week run of shows on one of their main stages. In addition, I write and perform sketch comedy with various groups around Chicago, I write and record music for fun, and my wife and I create content on the side. Oh yeah, and I do graphic design!
